  • It depends on the size, complexity, and current commission queue. My most popular size (18x24 acrylic) typically takes about six weeks, but I will always give you an upfront estimate and if you have a particular day in mind I’ll work with you as best as I am able.

  • Absolutely! Whether it’s adding your furry/scaly/feathered companion into a family portrait or something of just them, I’m all about it.

  • No, because shipping costs can vary so wildly. However I dont upcharge, once the painting is finished I’ll get an exact price for packing and shipping and add it to your final invoice.

  • Let me stop you there. No. It’s never too weird. I want weird. I want to make you something ridiculous and beautiful.

  • Maybe. Very maybe. Let’s talk. I love a skill exchange or art trade, and there are a lot of things I don’t know how to do.

  • All day every day. I have a long history of painting and drawing characters from books. As well as my son’s original characters.

  • Absolutely. I most often work on portraits of public figures so that’s nothing new for me. I do reserve the right to refuse a commission if the subject sucks

  • Sure. I’ll need confirmation that everyone involved is of age and consent if it’s based on a real image. I usually limit more pornographic images to digital art.

Commission Process

  • Be as descriptive as you can. Don’t worry about being exact.

  • I’ll reach out to you for specifics and reference pictures. For photos the rules is- More is More.

  • We’ll discuss your desired color scheme, mood, vibe, stores, display plans and anything specific you want.

  • I’ll provide a final price. A 50% deposit is required.

  • I’ll begin painting. We stay in touch throughout the process, i can send you sneak previews or not if you like a surprise!

  • Once the piece is finished, dried, and varnished I’ll pack it up. I’ll then invoice you for the exact shipping and packing cost. After you pay the remaining balance I’ll get your painting sent off and get a tracking number to you.

  • I hope you’ll share your new art with friends and on social media. And with your permission I’d love to share it on mine!
